Rooted in Flavor, Built on Community, Served with Heart
The Start of Red Oak Pub and Restaurant
It was a cold November night in 2011 when my wife, Andre, and I decided it was time for a change. We opened our first bar and grill in 2000, but by 2008, things were going downhill. Despite our efforts, sales kept slipping, and we constantly worried about staying open. With a dream and a vision, we set out to build what would become Red Oak Pub and Restaurant—knowing the risks, having already experienced a failed concept once before.
Our New Vision
We searched for a franchise but found the same old formula—bars, TVs, and reheated food. That wasn’t us. We believed in real, fresh meals made with care. Our goal was simple: create the best burger using fresh beef, house-made sauces, quality toppings, and char-grilled flavor. With support from our families and trusted managers, we built a place focused on great food, great beer, and a welcoming, family-friendly space. Red Oak Pub was born from that vision.
Making the Change
The day of the remodel came, and by 5 PM, the old space was completely cleared. With the help of our staff and local contractors, Red Oak Pub and Restaurant came to life—we were serving test food and pouring beer in just 21 days. On June 26, 2012, we opened our doors with a focused menu and a big dream. The community welcomed a fresh, locally owned, family-friendly spot where every customer truly mattered.
